DIY Vanilla extract


DIY vanilla extract: best discovery I've made in months! And now I'd like you to be part of the joy. If you're like me and love baking, this will come in very handy, trust me! And it's really easy too, you just need two ingredients: vodka and vanilla beans. Find a bottle/mason jar/anything else where you want to store your vanilla extract in and fill it up with 300 ml of vodka. Split the vanilla beans in half and submerge them in the vodka. Store in a dark place for a month or two.
If you're worried about all that booze in your cupcake, I can reassure you that all of the alcohol will evaporate when baking your cupcakes.
